(a)
“Poultry” means either of the following:(1)
Any domesticated bird, including chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, or guineas, whether live or dead, as defined in 9 C.F.R. 381 Poultry Products Inspection Regulations. (2)Any migratory waterfowl, game bird, including a pheasant, partridge, quail, grouse, or guinea, or pigeon, or squab, whether live or dead, as defined in 9 C.F.R. 362 Voluntary Poultry Inspection Program.(b)
“Poultry” does not include ratites.
