Public Utilities Code section 130630

The role of the board as it relates to the MTA is as follows:

(a)

The board provides counsel and direction to management and shall not be involved in the day-to-day affairs of the MTA.

(b)

Board members do not have individual power or authority over the MTA. That power and decisionmaking authority lie with the full board.
