(a)
Former board members or their staff shall not participate in any contract with the agency for a period of 12 months after leaving the board.(b)
MTA shall not contract with any profit-making firm or business in which a former board member or member of his or her staff is an officer, principal, or partner, or is a shareholder who holds more than 10 percent of the stock in the company, for a period of 12 months after the board member has left the board.
