Public Contract Code section 21568.8

Any design-build entity or Construction Manager/General Contractor that is selected to construct a project pursuant to this article shall possess or obtain sufficient bonding to cover the contract amount for construction services and risk and liability insurance the district may require. Any payment or performance bond written for the purposes of this article shall be written using a bond form developed by the district.
