Every licensee operating as a dealer who purchases any farm product from the producer of the farm product or from any licensee for the purpose of resale, shall promptly make and keep a correct record which shows in detail all of the following:
(a)
The name and address of the producer or licensee.
(b)
The date received.
(c)
The price to be paid.
(d)
An itemized statement of any charges paid by the dealer for the account of the seller.
The legislature occasionally skips outline levels.
For example:
(3) A person may apply [...]
(4)(a) A person petitioning for relief [...]
In this example, (3), (4),
and (4)(a) are all outline levels, but
(4) was
omitted by its authors. It's only implied. This presents an
interesting challenge when laying out the text. We've
decided to display a blank section with this note, in order
to aide readability.
