The governing board of any school district may determine not to include the attendance of any person or persons enrolled in classes for adults in the district’s computation of its revenue limit and state apportionments. The district shall submit annually to the Superintendent of Public Instruction a report indicating the number of pupils in such category for the preceding fiscal year.
