CA Bus & Prof Code Section 1901

(a)

There is hereby created within the jurisdiction of the Dental Board of California a Dental Hygiene Committee of California in which the administration of this article is vested.

(b)

This section shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2019, and as of that date is repealed, unless a later enacted statute, that is enacted before January 1, 2019, deletes or extends that date. Notwithstanding any other law, the repeal of this section renders the committee subject to review by the appropriate policy committees of the Legislature.
