N.Y. Public Authorities Law Section 3158
Continuity of authority


Upon the transfer pursuant to § 3156 (Transfer of powers)section thirty-one hundred fifty-six of this title of the functions and powers possessed by and all of the obligations and duties of the New York state office of science, technology and academic research as established pursuant to article ten-B of the executive law to the foundation as prescribed by § 3156 (Transfer of powers)section thirty-one hundred fifty-six of this title for the purpose of succession to all functions, powers, duties and obligations of the New York state office of science, technology and academic research, the foundation shall be deemed and held to constitute the continuation of such authority and not a different agency or authority.
