Water Code section 9013

Whenever any reclamation district, levee district, or drainage district has warrants or a bond issue outstanding, or both, compensation made pursuant to the provisions of this article shall be paid directly to the district, and the compensation shall be applied and paid by the district, pursuant to the provisions of this article.
