Water Code section 79067.4

The money in the subaccount, upon appropriation by the Legislature to the department, shall be allocated by the department to the City of Santa Cruz to pay for the state’s share of the costs of flood management projects authorized by the United States to improve the level of flood protection in the Santa Cruz region.
