Streets and Highways Code section 36542

(a)

The city council may modify the improvements and activities to be funded with the revenue derived from the levy of the assessments by adopting a resolution determining to make the modifications after holding a public hearing on the proposed modifications. Notice of the public hearing and the proposed modifications shall be published as provided in Section 36523.

(b)

The public hearing shall be conducted as provided in Section 36524 and 36525.
