Streets and Highways Code section 36538

(a)

An assessment pursuant to this part is a fee imposed by a government on the transaction for purposes of paragraph (29) of subdivision (a) of Section 1770 of the Civil Code.

(b)

This section shall become operative on July 1, 2024.
