Public Resources Code section 4135

Section 4129 to 4135, inclusive, do not deprive the department of the power and duty to require that the money paid by the department under the contract to a county shall be expended by the county for fire prevention and suppression in that area the protection of which is assumed by the county pursuant to Section 4129.
