Public Contract Code section 6825

(a)

The design-build entity shall provide payment and performance bonds for the project in the form and in the amount required by the transportation entity, and issued by a California admitted surety. In no case shall the amount of the payment bond be less than the amount of the performance bond.

(b)

The design-build contract shall require errors and omissions insurance coverage for the design elements of the project.
