Public Contract Code section 22162.5

Upon approval by its governing body, the Santa Clara Valley Water District may use the design-build contracting process described in this chapter to award a contract for the following projects:

(a)

Flood protection improvements.

(b)

Habitat restorations or enhancements.

(c)

Groundwater recharge or storage facilities.

(d)

Water treatment facilities.

(e)

The retrofit, repair, or expansion of existing surface water storage facilities.
