Penal Code section 5076.3

The executive officer of the Board of Parole Hearings shall have the authority of a head of a department set forth in subdivision (a) of Section 11181 of the Government Code to issue subpoenas as provided in Article 2 (commencing with Section 11180) of Chapter 2 of Division 3 of Title 2 of the Government Code. The board shall adopt regulations on the policies and guidelines for the issuance of subpoenas.
