Penal Code section 13301

As used in this article:

(a)

“Record” means the master local summary criminal history information as defined in subdivision (a) of Section 13300, or a copy thereof.

(b)

“A person authorized by law to receive a record” means any person or public agency authorized by a court, statute, or decisional law to receive a record.
