Health and Safety Code section 51349.6

(a)

The agency shall complete an initial phase of the program, shall conduct an evaluation of this initial phase, and shall report the results of the evaluation to the Legislature pursuant to Section 9795 of the Government Code and to the Joint Legislative Budget Committee, Housing Committees, and Emergency Management Committees on or before January 10, 2027. The assessment shall include all of the following:

(1)

A description of program activity.

(2)

Data regarding the guarantees issued.

(3)

Geographic distribution.

(4)

Borrower demographics.

(5)

How the balance of the funds appropriated to the program in the Budget Act of 2026 are planned to be allocated among the forms of assistance set forth in subdivision (b) of Section 51349.4.

(b)

Within 30 days of receiving the report described in subdivision (a), the Joint Legislative Budget Committee may provide feedback in writing on the proposed funding breakdown described in paragraph (5) of subdivision (a). The agency shall consider this feedback for the remaining phases or any future program allocations.
