Health and Safety Code section 40261

There is continued in existence the Bay Area Air Quality Management Council, which was formerly known as the Bay Area Air Pollution Control Advisory Council, which council is appointed by the bay district board, to advise and consult with the bay district board and the bay district air pollution control officer in effectuating the purposes of this division. Any reference to the Bay Area Air Pollution Control Advisory Council shall be deemed to be a reference to the Bay Area Air Quality Management Council.
