Health and Safety Code section 127880

It is the intent of the Legislature to maintain a Health Professions Career Opportunity Program designed to:

(a)

Increase the number of ethnic minorities in health professional training.

(b)

Increase the number of minority health professionals practicing in health manpower shortage areas in this area.
