Health and Safety Code section 127630

For purposes of this chapter:

(a)

“Abortion” has the same meaning as defined in Section 123464.

(b)

“Contraception” means the services and contraceptive methods described in paragraph (1) of subdivision (b) of Section 1367.25.

(c)

“Department” means the Department of Health Care Access and Information.

(d)

“Fund” means the California Reproductive Health Equity Fund established pursuant to Section 127631.

(e)

“Gender-affirming health care” and “gender-affirming mental health care” have the same meanings as defined in Section 16010.2 of the Welfare and Institutions Code.

(f)

“Program” means the California Reproductive and TGI Health Equity Program established pursuant to Section 127632.

(g)

“Religious employer” has the same meaning as described in Section 1367.25.
