Government Code section 71804.5

(a)

After a trial court has considered applications under Section 71804, the trial court may hire additional court interpreters pro tempore pursuant to the personnel rules of the trial court.

(b)

A court interpreter pro tempore may not be an employee of more than one trial court, but may accept appointments to provide services to more than one trial court through cross-assignments.

(c)

This section shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2025, and as of that date is repealed.
