Government Code section 64715

(a)

The board shall hold its first meeting at a time and place within Los Angeles County fixed by the Los Angeles County Clerk, as a ministerial duty.

(b)

After the first meeting described in subdivision (a), the board shall hold meetings at times and places determined by the board.
