Government Code section 43765

If the bonds are to be issued to acquire outstanding bonds, the ordinance shall state generally:

(a)

What bonds are to be purchased or acquired.

(b)

The total principal amount of such bonds.

(c)

The maximum purchase price proposed to be paid for them. The maximum purchase price shall not exceed the amount stated.
