Government Code section 14473
(a)
The Secretary of California Housing and Homelessness and the Secretary of Transportation, along with their respective departments, shall coordinate state housing and transportation policies and programs to achieve state and regional planning priorities and maximize public resources.(b)
The Secretary of California Housing and Homelessness and the Secretary of Transportation, along with their respective departments, shall coordinate state housing and transportation policies and programs to achieve state and regional planning priorities and maximize public resources. The secretaries shall consider opportunities to align program requirements and funding timelines and consider data sharing between agencies and departments within the California Housing and Homelessness Agency and the Transportation Agency.(c)
The Secretary of California Housing and Homelessness and the Secretary of Transportation may, at their discretion, coordinate with other agencies and departments, including, but not limited to, the California Environmental Protection Agency and the Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation, to achieve interrelated benefits pertaining to housing, transportation, the environment, climate, and other policy issue areas as appropriate.
