Food and Agricultural Code section 79025

“Sea urchin” means the following species of fish:

(a)

Red sea urchin (Strongylocentrotus franciscanus).

(b)

Purple sea urchin (Strongylocentrotus purpuratus).

(c)

Any other species of sea urchin authorized for commercial landing in the state.
