Education Code section 8951

As used in this chapter, “arts” includes, but is not limited to, all of the following: dance; theatre; music; folk art; creative writing; visual arts, including painting, sculpture, photography, and craft arts; design, including graphic arts, computer graphics, and costume design; film; and video.
