Education Code section 41971

If the total amount allowed for each subdivision in Section 41300 and 41301 is less than the apportionments named in the subsections, the apportionments shall be reduced proportionately or as otherwise prescribed. Prior to the close of the fiscal year, such reductions shall be restored to the extent possible pursuant to Section 41970.
