Education Code section 23706

(a)

Failure to file an election pursuant to this chapter shall be deemed to be an election to retain coverage under the disability allowance and family allowance programs.

(b)

Failure to meet all of the requirements for submitting an election pursuant to this chapter shall be deemed to be a failure to file an election.
