CA Welf & Inst Code Section 5666

(a)

The Director of Health Care Services, or his or her designee, shall review each proposed county mental health services performance contract to determine that it complies with the requirements of this division.

(b)

The director or his or her designee shall require modifications in the proposed county mental health services performance contract which he or she deems necessary to bring the proposed contract into conformance with the requirements of this division.

(c)

Upon approval by both parties, the provisions of the performance contract required by Section 5651 shall be deemed to be a contractual arrangement between the state and county.
