The local air pollution control district or air quality management district shall maintain in a confidential manner the information received pursuant to this section. However, nothing in this subdivision shall affect the applicability of Chapter 3.5 (commencing with Section 6250) of Division 7 of Title 1 of the Government Code, or of any other similar open records statute or ordinance, to information provided pursuant to this section.
