CA Health & Safety Code Section 25117.4.1

(a)

“Local health officer” means county health officers, city health officers, and district health officers, as defined in this code.

(b)

“Local officer” means a local public officer authorized to implement this chapter pursuant to subdivision (a) of Section 25180.
