CA Health & Safety Code Section 17009.5

(a)

“Person,” as used in this part, includes any natural person, firm, association, organization, partnership, business trust, company, joint stock company, corporation, limited liability company, joint venture, or other organizations of persons.

(b)

“Person,” as used in this part, may be used interchangeably with “tenant” or “employee,” and those terms are used interchangeably when the context does not imply an employer or an owner of employee housing.
