An application for approval to acquire control of a bank or a controlling person shall be in such form and contain such information as the commissioner may require by regulation or order and shall be accompanied by the following fee:
(a)
In case the applicant has been a director or officer of the bank for not less than two years (or, if the bank has been in business for less than two years, for such lesser period), a fee of
five hundred dollars ($500); and
(b)
In any other case, a fee of one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500).
The legislature occasionally skips outline levels.
For example:
(3) A person may apply [...]
(4)(a) A person petitioning for relief [...]
In this example, (3), (4),
and (4)(a) are all outline levels, but
(4) was
omitted by its authors. It's only implied. This presents an
interesting challenge when laying out the text. We've
decided to display a blank section with this note, in order
to aide readability.
