Business and Professions Code section 7672.4

(a)

A cremated remains disposer who scatters cremated human remains or hydrolyzed human remains without specific written instructions from the person having the right to control the disposition of the remains or who scatters remains in a manner not in accordance with those instructions shall be subject to disciplinary action.

(b)

This section shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2027, and as of that date is repealed.
