Business and Professions Code section 19289

(a)

Any person who submits to the bureau a check for fees that is returned unpaid shall pay all subsequent required fees by cashier’s check or money order.

(b)

Any person who submits to the bureau a check for fees that is returned unpaid shall be assessed an additional processing fee as determined by the bureau.
