Business and Professions Code section 10166.14

A real estate broker shall notify the department when he or she is no longer subject to this part. If a broker has already made reports required by Section 10166.07 and 10166.08 within the year, he or she shall continue reports for that year, but shall notify the department prior to the expiration of that year that he or she will no longer be subject to this part in the succeeding year.
