Welfare and Institutions Code section 14088.13

The department shall approve those Medi-Cal services for which the contractor is at risk that shall be provided in any contract or contracts for services under the primary care provider case management program. Medi-Cal services provided under any contract or contracts for services under this article shall be subject to review and approval by the department.
