In cases of joint and several liability, and where amounts are owed under Section 1735, an agreement under Section 1870 to accept partial payment in satisfaction of the liability of one or more debtors shall neither relieve any other debtors of the obligation to liquidate the entire balance of the debt remaining unpaid, nor grant to the debtor or debtors any right to appeal or seek judicial review of the director’s determination.
The legislature occasionally skips outline levels.
(3) A person may apply [...]
(4)(a) A person petitioning for relief [...]
In this example, (3), (4),
and (4)(a) are all outline levels, but
omitted by its authors. It's only implied. This presents an
interesting challenge when laying out the text. We've
decided to display a blank section with this note, in order
to aide readability.
