Public Utilities Code section 33002.5

The petition for confirmation by the voters shall be filed with the board within 30 days after the conclusion of the public hearing required by Section 33001 and 33001.5. If a petition meeting the requirements of Section 33002. 2 is filed, the board shall adopt a resolution approving the proposal to form a benefit district subject to confirmation by the voters of the benefit district.
