CA Health & Safety Code Section 1791


(a)

An annual fee shall be required of each provider which has obtained a provisional or final certificate of authority.

(b)

Each annual report submitted pursuant to Section 1790 shall be accompanied by a payment to the Continuing Care Provider Fee Fund in the amount of one-tenth of 1 percent of the portion of total operating expenses, excluding debt service and depreciation from audited financial statements, which has been allocated to continuing care contract residents. The allocation shall be based on the ratio of the mean number of total residents.

(c)

If a provider is granted an exemption from filing annual reports to the department pursuant to subdivision (f) of Section 1790, the minimum annual provider fee shall be two hundred fifty dollars ($250). This fee shall be submitted after the end of the provider’s fiscal year with proof of trust fund or performance bond as required by subdivision (f) of Section 1790.
