(a)
Upon new construction or extensive remodeling, floor drains shall be installed in floors that are water-flushed for cleaning and in areas where pressure spray methods for cleaning equipment are used. Floor surfaces in areas pursuant to this subdivision shall be sloped 1:50 to the floor drains.(b)
Upon new construction or extensive remodeling, floor sinks or equivalent devices shall be installed to receive discharges of water or other liquid waste from equipment.
