CA Gov't Code Section 26639.7

(a)

This article shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2018, and as of that date is repealed unless a later enacted statute, which is enacted before January 1, 2018, deletes or extends that date.

(b)

The repeal of this article does not affect any right or benefit to which a person was entitled on the date of repeal.
