Any out-of-state registrant who fails to promptly submit required reports or pay required fees is subject to the criminal penalties specified in this chapter. A violation of this section is also subject to a civil or administrative penalty not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500) per violation. Each day a violation continues may be considered a separate violation for purposes of penalty assessment. The department may also seek appropriate injunctive relief.
The legislature occasionally skips outline levels.
(3) A person may apply [...]
(4)(a) A person petitioning for relief [...]
In this example, (3), (4),
and (4)(a) are all outline levels, but
omitted by its authors. It's only implied. This presents an
interesting challenge when laying out the text. We've
decided to display a blank section with this note, in order
to aide readability.
