Each school district or other public or private nonprofit school or agency receiving reimbursement pursuant to the provisions of this article shall meet standards adopted by the Superintendent of Public Instruction for the following:
(a)
The definition of a “meal” and at what price a given meal may be considered to be a “reduced-price meal.”
(b)
Standards for the eligibility of children to receive free or reduced-price meals.
(c)
Standards for the protection of the identity of children for whom reimbursement is made pursuant to this article.
The legislature occasionally skips outline levels.
For example:
(3) A person may apply [...]
(4)(a) A person petitioning for relief [...]
In this example, (3), (4),
and (4)(a) are all outline levels, but
(4) was
omitted by its authors. It's only implied. This presents an
interesting challenge when laying out the text. We've
decided to display a blank section with this note, in order
to aide readability.
