CA Bus & Prof Code Section 26191


Commencing January 1, 2019, and by January 1 of each year thereafter, the California State Auditor’s Office shall conduct a performance audit of the bureau’s activities under this division, and shall report its findings to the bureau and the Legislature by July 1 of that same year. The report shall include, but not be limited to, the following:


The actual costs of the program.


The overall effectiveness of enforcement programs.


Any report submitted pursuant to this section shall be submitted in compliance with Section 9795 of the Government Code.


The Legislature shall provide sufficient funds to the California State Auditor’s Office to conduct the annual audit required by this section.
